A lot of the time my new designs happen as a result of someone asking if I make......? and this time it was do I make feathers?
This feather has been made from 7 types blue stained glass
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, foiled and soldered together. The quill has been made using twisted tinned wire which also forms the hanger.
The feather measures 21.5cms x 7cms excluding the wire quill. Including the wire hanger it measures approx 26cms.
This could even be hung in the garden if in a sheltered position.
