My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

This colourful mixed media artwork would make a quirky little gift to brighten up someone's home.
The artwork is displayed in an upcycled dark brown vintage thimble rack and the compartments have been filled with an assortment of 'treasures'. These include a Greek Mykonos verdigris mare and foal, a metal fish charm, jewelry findings, a Japanese postage stamp, a beautiful piece of Abalone, seashells and beads (drawbench, Czech fire-polished and pressed glass flower, carved bone and a ceramic cat bead).
The backgrounds have been painted with layers of acrylic paint and paper collage has been added to create a vintage feel.
Overall size is approx. 11cm wide x 18cm high (excl. hook) and 2.5cm deep.
The rack is free-standing and has a hanging hook.
Artwork will be shipped via Evri.
