Many of my designs are one off pieces, but if you see something you like I can often duplicate it, or close to the original. Please contact me if you have any queries.
Jewellery making is a real passion which I want to share , so I have recently started offering ‘One to One’ workshops in which a bangle, earrings or necklace can be made. It is a wonderful way to make an individual piece of Jewellery for yourself or as a gift for someone special.
The cost of the workshop includes all materials, use of tools and refreshments.
Should you need to postpone the workshop I can do so with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. I will endeavor to offer an alternative session. If cancelled at short notice I cannot offer a refund.
I will be following local government COVID 19 guidelines.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
During the 3 hour session you will learn basic skills of cutting, forming, soldering and texturing silver to form a piece of Jewellery. After a refreshment break you will finish your piece by sanding and polishing it to a professional shine, before taking it home.
It is a one to one workshop in my studio, based in Ely Cambridgeshire. You can choose to make a necklace, ring, bangle or earrings. All materials are included, and tea, coffee and cake supplied.
On arrival we can plan the piece of Jewellery you wish to make. Making a quick sketch together will give us a plan to work with. We will then discuss the process of making the piece and you can get to work. I will demonstrate any technique I feel will help you in making the piece, but this is very much a hands-on experience where you will do all the construction, under my instruction.
The work is a little messy, so please do not wear your best clothes. You may wish to bring an apron. Long hair will need to be tied back.
I have designs suitable for men and women so you may wish to make something for yourself or as a gift for someone special. We can discuss ideas when you call to book the session.
I can be flexible with time and dates. Payment is in advance or if you wish to buy a workshop as a gift, I will supply a voucher, valid for 6 months, which can be redeemed by calling to book a suitable date.
The workshop is suitable for beginners and over 18s.
