Your purchase will be carefully wrapped in an attractive bag, hand made from recycled cotton fabrics and tied with a ribbon and Knitting Jules tag. If sending directly as a gift, I am very happy to write your personal message on the on the tag. Just message it when placing your order.
I use recycled materials in my packaging.
The first Elf I made was for my Grand son then his friends and many more since. They all love him and look out for him in the nooks and crannys of their homes in December

'In December Elf likes to sit and quietly and watch! Sometimes he might peak out from behind the books or hang from a rail. He is always looking out for someone, child or adult, doing a good deed.'
This pattern designed to make a beautiful detailed Elf with out being too complicated. You will need experience in increase and decrease. He knitted in stocking stitch and some garter stitch, using Aran yarn which makes it is quick to knit. He made in one piece except for the hat to minimise sewing up.
The internal wire frame makes Elf very bendy but not suitable for children to play with. Full instructions are given to make the wire frame.
If you wish to make a children’s toy do not use pipe cleaners- craft sticks.

DK weight yarn in Red or Green
20gm Flesh Yarn
2ogm white
1 meter brown yarn for hair
1/2 meter deep pink thread/yarn for mouth
1/2 meter dark blue thread/yarn for eyes
Waste yarn to bind pipe cleaners
8 pipe cleaners
High loft toy stuffing

Everything comes in an attractive recycled cotton bag tied with a ribbon and Knitting Jules label which can be given as a gift.
You will need:
1 pair 3.50 needles (smaller than the recommended size for Aran yarn to prevent the stuffing showing)
1 large darning needle
2 stitch holders (or waste yarn)
