Full description
A pretty, felted and embroidered garden design decorates this pincushion.
A selection of hand-dyed fibres have been felted to a background of eco felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles), to represnt the border and sky, using an embellisher machine. Small patches of hand-dyed fibres have been felted in place to represent roses. The design is enhanced, and stabilised, by hand stitching in fine cottons. Detailed flowers and foliage have been added using simple embroidery stitches in cottons and wool.
The back of the pincushion is grey eco felt. The pincushion is firmly stuffed with polyester filling.
