A spectacles case featuring a pretty wild meadow. This glasses case has been entirely hand-stitched.
The front of this glasses case has been made from 'eco' felt - produced from recycled plastic bottles.Hand-dyed fibres and snippets of threads and wool from other projects have been felted to the background to represent meadow grasses and sky. Simple hand embroidery stitches have been used to create meadow flowers such as clover and daisies.
The case is lined in a green and white striped fabric and inter-lined with interfacing. The reverse of the cover is a blue and white striped canvas fabric. The case is seemed with blanket stitch in crochet cottons for durability. The case closes with a stitched loop - using the same blue cotton thread, over a grey button.
