Wooden bangles transformed into pretty floral bracelets, with a pop of colour painted inside the inner ring, these bangles are ideal for girls - pop one in a party bag at birthday and christmas parties!
These are chunky but very lightweight.
£10 for all 4 or £3 each.
Napkin paper, varnish and paints all non toxic and water based (except napkin).

Some years ago, I was searching for something unique to put in party bags for my daughter's friends and I was disappointed at the usual plastic 'tat' in the party aisles in local supermarkets.
I really wanted to find something 'ethical'.

Back at home, I had a bag full of plain wooden bangles that I didn't know what to do with.
After wearily traipsing around the shops and coming home empty handed, I decided to decoupage and paint the bangles to pop in the bags, thinking they would probably get thrown in the bin after a day or two; to my surprise, the finished bangles looked rather gorgeous and I didn't want to part with them!

They were a big hit at the party and as far as I know, they were still used and escaped the rubbish bin!
