I re-discovered my love of printmaking in 2013, having enjoyed learning some techniques at Art Foundation some time before. I soon realised my main passion was for lino printing and I began creating bold designs and looking at how texture affects my work.

Full description
This lino print was inspired by many trips to the zoo and my fascination with the reptile house. I love the shape of the lizard and the fact that it can camouflage with its surroundings. I used swirls in the background of this print to echo the swirl of the lizards tail and chose to print the whole piece in the same colour so the lizard is camouflaged with the background.
The image itself measures 300x194mm and the outer dimensions of the frame are 387x310mm.
Perfect for an animal lover or perhaps a colourful addition to a child's bedroom.
