MADE TO ORDER - Please allow 7 days from placing your order for me to make your unicorn toy. Due to the nature of handmade items, your unicorn may differ slightly from the one pictured, they are all unique!

This unicorn with his beautiful pale blue mane would make a delightful gift for a newborn baby or a cute nursery decoration. He stands approx. 20 cm tall from his toes to the tip of his horn and his body is 10cm long, not including his curly tail.

This 'ragdoll' style crochet toy is made in two pieces that are crocheted together, enclosing the mane and tail, to ensure they are very securely attached. As with all my toys, he has been designed to be safe for babies and young children to play with and meets the requirements of the Toy (Safety) Regulations 2011, proudly displaying the UKCA mark on his label.

He has been made with 100% cotton yarn which has a lovely soft texture and is filled with squishy 100% hi-loft polyester toy stuffing. His sleepy eyes and smile are hand embroidered with grey embroidery thread. I recommend a gentle hand wash in warm water, dry flat and do not tumble dry.

He will be posted to you carefully wrapped in tissue paper, enclosed in a cardboard box.

I love making toys with cute expressions, every one is unique and this unicorn is one of my all time favourites. Just a few embroidered stitches and the toy suddenly has a personality all of its own. My unicorn is inspired by a Spin a Yarn Crochet pattern that I adapted to make it more suitable for babies and young children to play with, including changing the mane to make it more robust (and I think the curly locks make him even more irresistible!).
