INTERNATIONAL POST - I'm in the process of updating postage for the US and have temporarily removed it from my listings whilst I recalculate the prices to include the new taxes and handling fees which have to be paid prior to my items entering the US. A beautiful and unique boxed gift set. A Hand embroidered pincushion, needlepoint scissor keep and embroidery stork scissors. Designed and created by Bearlescent
This is a beautiful hand sewn gift set, perfect for the sewing enthusiast or a lovely display piece for the collector.
A keepsake gift which was designed and created by Bearlescent, a unique one of a kind item.
A Hand embroidered pincushion on natural silk noil fabric, floral design using delicate blues, storm and denim tones with lighter shades added also a hint of pale yellow/lemon and ivory with various greens used for stems.
The pincushion measures approx 4" in diameter and has been laced over a very firmly stuffed cotton form which was made to fit into the wooden bowl. The embroidered piece was backed in cotton fabric giving it 3 layers of fabric in total.
Finished with natural cotton lace and a blue satin rolled ribbon.
Included is a pair of quality embroidery stork scissors with a matching needlepoint scissor keep/fob. Hand sewn onto 18 count canvas in colours and threads to match the embroidered pincushion using various canvaswork stitches. The same colourway has been used on both sides of the fob but I have varied the stitches to give more interest.
A touch of nostalgia, boxed and gift wrapped in a red tartant box, this would make a beautiful heirloom gift for someone special.
The boxed set will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd class parcel post and will require a signature upon delivery.
