A wrapped copper wire wreath decorated with needle felt figures.
An unusual Christmas Decoration hand made by Susan Lindley of Yorkshire Hare Crafts.
A copper wreath has been wrapped with yarn. A bluey green hand dyed and spun pure wool yarn to represent the night sky. An acrylic fancy yarn in beige and cream to represent the stable. Needle felt figures of Mary and Joseph, a needle felt crib with baby Jesus and at the top a needle felt star.
The figures and crib have been securely tied to the frame. The star has been needle felted onto the wool yarn.
Hessian string has been used to create a hanger.
The wreath measures 8 ins (20 cms) across.
