The Yew used for your spoon was donated by St. James' Church in Trowbridge. The tree enhances a beautiful and ancient churchyard. When some limbs were felled to keep the tree healthy, as its canopy was too broad and too heavy, I could not resist asking for some!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Unique, handcrafted wooden serving spoon, made from ethically sourced Yew. This is a unique, one of a kind spoon crafted with care, and attention to detail, following the branch's own natural crank.
The beauty of this piece is not only in its functionality but also in its artistic value. It is happy when used for stews, chillis, salads or mashed potatoes!
Finished with high quality organic Linseed Oil, that is naturally water, food and alcohol resistant and free from any synthetic or modified resins, and varnishes.
This oil enhances the wood's natural colour and unique grain pattern, thereby, revealing the beauty within!
Each piece of wood is ethically sourced and will have its own unique characteristics. Please note, items crafted from the same original piece will vary slightly in colour, grain pattern and nominally in dimension. Different woods present different opportunities and allow for creative expression.
