I rescued this 1940s Sanderson linen fabric from an old chair that was due to be re-upholstered (rusty tacks included)!!
It was great to be able to bring this old fabric that was still in good condition, with vibrant colours, up to date by teaming it with a modern upholstery fabric and a bit of modern haberdashery. These are long, 'lumbar' placement cushions would look great in either a traditional country-house setting or a surprise addition to a more pared-back modern country interior.
