The body of the vase has been glazed in a smooth richly coloured glaze which is complimented by a pewter black textured lava glaze at the neck of the pot. The combination of the volcanic black glaze and the smooth vibrant colours give the pot a retro feel but with a modern twist.
The pots come in 5 glaze colours:
Marine Blue, Yellow, Red, Orange or Turquoise
Please select your choice from the drop down menu.
This pottery studio hand throw vase stands 18cm high and measures 3.5cm at the neck opening, at the widest bulbous point it measures 12cm in diameter.
These lovely pots are fired in the kiln twice and taken to an Earthen ware temp of 1060c which is how you get the amazing depths of colour. They are glazed on the inside so can also be use to hold water for cut flowers.
The vase is carefully bubble wrapped and boxed for delivery, it can be sent directly to your loved one as a gift. Please note i have an environmental policy and use biodegradable bubble wrap and recycled packaging.
