This vessel has been made from a lovely piece of reclaimed Sapele that was once part of a staircase here in Edinburgh. Sapele has a beautiful shimmering effect to its grain and a lovely red colour. This vessel is sealed with clear lacquer.

Please note that this vessel is only suited to dry flower arrangements and cannot hold liquids.

This is a beautiful piece made from Sapele that was salvaged from a firewood pile in a local workshop. Its common for large pieces of timber like this to find their way into the firewood piles since they are generally too small to machine again. Instead of letting them get thrown away I do my best to turn them into lovely decorative items like this.

This vessel is coated in a clear lacquer and is not suitable for holding water. It is best used for dry flower arrangements.
