Due to family commitments, Plum Porridge will be closed for the whole of December this year, which means that the last day I am able to accept orders in 2024 will be FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER.
I have LOTS of good strong fabric in my fabric cupboard and in an effort to get the doors to shut properly (and therefore room to buy more fabric), I'm making up a few basic tote bags to sell at £5. All well made and fully lined, the bags in this section are great value for money.

Full description
Well made and fully lined, this is a basic tote bag made using a sage green cotton fabric which has a delicate white floral print and this is teamed with dark denim for the base of the bag. It is faced at the top with cute navy-spotted calico and then lined with plain beige cotton lining fabric.
The base of the bag has been squared off at the corners to make it nice and roomy inside.
Measures approximately 31cm across the top, and 29cm high. The loop of each handle measures about 58cm and I have interlined them with a layer of fleece to make them a bit more comfy. They are also topstitched with three rows of stitching.
This item is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, whilst the outer packaging might be recycled.
