Full description
This is a handmade stained glass suncatcher entirely handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A very patriotic and British Union Jack Flag.
It measures 8 x 4.5 inches and I have made it to as accurate a pattern as possible for glass, including the different widths of the white diagonal pieces.
It contains 32 individually and very carefully handcut pieces of glass which are copper foiled before being fitted together like a jigsaw and then meticulously soldered,
It is wonderfully bright and reflects the colours beautifully when it catches the light.
It has a strengthening frame of twisted wire round the edge and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at the top corners.
This, like all my glass, is unique. I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass in each piece to ensure this.
