Copper has long been revered for it's ability to develop beautiful colours.
These lovely heart earrings have been created by hand sawing the shape from sheet copper. They have been domed to create shape and patinated to create an attractive dark turquoise on black finish. The finish has then been sealed with several coats of clear lacquer and the hearts hung at an angle from handmade sterling silver earring wires..
The hearts measure approximately 23 x 23 mm.
The patina is created through an organic chemical reaction so the abstract design created is unique to these earrings.
These earrings come gift packaged.
