Full description
This blue stained glass sun catcher features a cute, sleepy hedgehog. This is a lovely gift for a nature lover or anyone who loves hedgehogs.
There are many stages for making a stained glass panel so I’ll keep it brief :) I begin by drawing up the design then hand cut the piece of glass I’ll be using. Next I mix and apply the paint and then place the glass in a kiln and fire it. Once cooled the glass is leaded and the joins soldered before I use cement to keep the glass and lead correctly in place. It is left over night before removing excess cement and cleaning the panel. Finally I make and solder on the hanging loops.
This small panel is approx 9cm in diameter.
