A humorous piece of Roman history.
I'm drawn to pieces of old stonework that have been handled and marked by the artist or craftsman, and lettering is such an elegant and pleasing collection of shapes.
A trip to the Roman Baths in Bath recently brought my love of Latin lettering and inscriptions bubbling to the surface. I wanted to capture the a feel of an archaeological find.
