Full description
This beautiful stained glass sunflower will remind you of Summer all year round. Hand-crafted using the Tiffany method of stained glass making. Each piece of glass is hand cut and shaped. The edges of the glass are wrapped in copper foil which is burnished to the glass. The petals are then soldered together using a fine beaded solder line. The centre of the sunflower is made from amber hammered glass which is textured. The petals are cut from a range of amber, yellow and gold glass including Water glass, Glue Chip glass and English Muffle glass. The light catcher comes with a hand tied loop and is ready to hang in a position. A unique hand-crafted gift for any occasion.
