The No4:5 is my bestselling design, it just ticks all the boxes! The design originates from a denim cross back apron I designed to wear myself for my own art/craft practice - which I began to sell online. Soon craftspeople asked for custom versions, potters and jewellery makers asked for a split leg skirt and tool loop etc which I added to my range. More recently I improved the design further with adjustable cross back straps.
Working in my studio in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make aprons in small batches using cotton canvas, denim or drill - fabrics that are natural, washable and durable. Careful attention to detail, strength of construction and beautiful stitching result in a quality of finish simply not possible in mass production. I cut fabric economically, minimising waste and saving the small remnants to make one-of-a-kind bags for my ‘Boro Collection’.

This gorgeous ochre pottery/makers apron is sure to attract admiration in the studio! It has a fantastically comfortable cross back design and split skirt with generous coverage making sure each leg is well covered working at a potters wheel or workbench. Beautifully sewn, carefully designed and made-to-last, this apron is highly specialised craftsperson's workwear.
