I have just set up my store on Folksy. I design and create my own range of jewellery pieces. If you are a fan of quirky jewellery or all things coffee then you are in the right place!! Here you have a pair of lightweight fab real coffee bean earrings for pierced ears. I have lovingly made these earrings myself, I begin by inserting pre- enamelled coffee beans within epoxy resin. As the beans are very light in weight, they sometimes misbehave and rise to the surface of the resin, it’s not unusual for me to get up in the middle of the night to push them back down!! The surface of the hoops are faceted and glossy. I carefully apply real gold leaf within the hoops and leave the resin to cure and do it’s magic overnight. After the resin has set to a hard finish, I then attach the earring hoops onto gold plated earring hooks and finish with fitting rubber stoppers to keep them secure.
I have made another pair of these earrings for my own use and receive lots of compliments when I wear them, they look great with a black outfit.
All of my pieces are lovingly handcrafted. At times, resin may contain small imperfections/micro bubbles within the material, although these can only be noticed at very close distance.
