RHS Harlow Car is one of the many gardens I go to to get inspiration. They have an amazing display of alliums, standing tall and swaying in the breeze. It really is a sight to behold, and a fab place to visit for inspiration. This particular print is based on a photo I took of dried allium seedheads within the allotment area. I like the way they keep them, even though the bloom is over as they provide structural interest within the garden.
It's such a pretty and delicate print and would make an excellent gift for a friend, or just to keep for yourself.

Printed using Hawthorn Printmakers oil based inks.
Available in bright lime green or blue/grey ink on 220 gsm smooth paper
Sold unframed and unmounted.

Each design is created using hand carved plate of traditional lino, carved with specialist tools and printed with a hand wound press. Every print is unique and completely individual due to its handmade nature. It's always so satisfying peeling back to paper to reveal to final print.
