Welcome to Rudy & the Rowan Tree - home to my experiments in wood, pattern and colour.
Handcrafted and made (very) slow in Scotland.
One day whilst tidying my workroom I found some plywood tablets leftover from a previous project which I had forgotten about, and since I love experimenting with colour combinations, pattern and shapes, I decided to make a few one-off prints! They are very much inkeeping with my little houses and necklaces in spirit, being quite free and unplanned, producing a completely unique effect.

Full description
This colourful, one of a kind abstract wooden picture has been individually screenprinted by hand onto a 7" birch ply tablet. I've used some of my favourite colour combinations in several layers to create a unique print, with some areas left blank to show off the lovely grain of the wood.
The wood I use to print on is high quality birch ply, with the wooden square measuring approx 7 inches. It is float mounted inside a rustic painted blue box frame which measures approx 9 inches (23cm).
