Rose, Honeysuckle and Wrens textile artwork created by textile artist Heidi Meier.
This substantial textile artwork is created using primarily silks and some sheers to give it added sheen. Two wrens sit atop a sprig of honeysuckle which has entwined around luscious old English roses, on a perfect summer's day!
Framed in a high quality white wooden frame, under glass, mounted with premium conservation board, from a local craftsman picture framer. Framed artwork measures 22.75 inches by 19.5 inches/ 58cm by 49.5cm approx.
The textile artwork is created using applique and freestyle embroidery techniques, using a myriad of colours of thread to create the detail of the picture.
Unique one of a kind artwork, handcrafted, many hours of work involved with designing, sourcing fabrics, cutting, embroidering and presenting for framing.
