The design for this pendant came about while I was playing with polymer clay off-cuts and my crescent moon cutters. I found that by folding the moons back on themselves I created an open petal. I played around with these, and found that three joined together at the narrowest point created an organic form, which I think works well as a pendant.
The blend of silver-glitter, black and hot pink was inspired by my dad’s favourite sweets: liquorice allsorts. Polymer clay canes good enough to eat!

Full description
A handmade, reversible pendant crafted from a jazzy blend of black, silver-glitter, and hot pink polymer clay. Three pieces of clay have been sculpted to resemble open-petals, which join together at the narrowest point. Each piece has been cut from a patchwork of my ‘liquorice’ canes, to create a mix of patterns on the inside and outside of each piece. No two pieces are ever the same! Once the pieces have been fired, they are sanded and painted with a semi-gloss varnish. The pendant has been threaded on black rubber cord with sliding knots, to allow you to adjust the length of the necklace.

The pendant and necklace will be wrapped in tissue paper and placed in an organza bag, ready to gift or keep for yourself!
