I am currently away at a fair, so no orders can be taken until my return, Tuesday 12th July, but please feel free to message me. New stock will be added on my return so keep watching

I am fascinated by glow worms and take part in the national survey every year for our local woodland. There is nothing like seeing that little green pinprick of green light as the female attempts to attract a mate. I hope I have done these illusive insects justice.

Full description

A reduction linocut of a glow worm that I saw during a survey this year.

Printed on cream woven 300gsm paper. The image is approx 6cm diameter on a 13cm x 13cm sheet.

It comes unmounted or framed but I have included a framed example in the photographs. I cut mine down smaller but you have room to pick your own size frame.

A limited edition of 14, this listing is for number 3.

This print used 2 plates, one for the glowing tail and one for the rest. Each plate was cut away before the next colour was printed. A total of 7 passes through the press..

Designed by Elizabeth Mitchener in Dorset
