Snowfall on the south coast of Iceland created this eerie and apocalyptic shot of a crashed US Navy plane. Stranded on one of Iceland's black sand beaches, I captured this on an Olympus camera. Luckily everyone on the plane survived. This would make the perfect gift for someone who loves planes.

Walking to this plane wreckage was a mission, people kept saying not to go because you have to walk for miles and miles. To be honest, we did think about giving up and going back because it was snowing a blizzard and it was freezing but it was so worth it when we got to the plane. With nothing and no one around it felt like we'd wandered into an apocalypse. If you ever travel to Iceland this should be top of your to-do list.
