Item details

A card holder, or small wallet, hand made from natural cork fabric. This simple folding design is handy for cards or notes and small enough for any pocket. The outside is cork dyed dark, denim blue with a black fabric backing. The asymmetrical pockets are dark blue and natural colour cork with multicoloured shiny flecks.

Size when folded approximately 10 x 7.5 x 0.5 cm

I had collected a stash of remnants from bag making, those lovely bits of fabric too small for bags, but too precious for landfill. I needed to put them to good use. A collection of wallets and card holders was the perfect solution. The card pockets in this wallet use even the tiniest off-cuts and by mixing up the different colours nothing goes to waste.
