Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.
* I endeavour to represent my pieces as clearly and with colours as true to life as possible, however some slight variations in tone between the image on screen and the piece itself may occur.*
I love to stitch images inspired by the nature around me. This garden birds piece is a hand-stitched, time consuming labour of love; a beautiful quality print means that my images can be reproduced in close detail to be enjoyed by many, at an affordable price.

Full description
This Garden Birds image is a beautiful quality print of my original hand-stitched piece.
(The original hand-stitched piece can be seen, unmounted, amongst the photographs).
The print is reproduced onto 190gsm Hahnemuhle textured Fine Art paper and is sold between a cream mount and backboard, ready for framing.
The total size, including mount, is 23cm x 27cm approx., with the mount aperture measuring approx. 14cm x 18.5cm.
A greetings card featuring the same design is also available in my shop as are little hand-stitched linen decorations.
