Aren't elephants just adorable? They are so lovely and if you've every seen one up close which I was lucky enough to do in Sri Lanka some years ago, they are incredibly hairy.
I have been making elephant suncatchers for some time but thought I would enlarge my pattern and make a Daddy Elephant
Each piece of glass has been copper foiled and soldered together, the eye and tail detail have been made from twisted tinned wire and a ring has been attached for hanging purposes.
This elephants measure 14.5 cms x 13 cms and has been made from a selection of 5 different types of green stained glass, which will definitely brighten your window.
