Hi my name is Carla and I am an Holistic Therapist offering various wellbeing therapies, such as Clinical Reflexology. I burn a lot of candles at my practice but noticed I wasn’t feeling very well, working with lots of paraffin candles burning for ambience, so researched how paraffin candles are made and realised they are quite toxic. So I immediately stopped using them and instead brought various brands made with the alternative natural-based wax. I felt much more comfortable and my symptoms subsided. However, as ReCalm was burning candles during every treatment, I began investigating how to make our own candles not only to save money, but to ensure only premium non-toxic products were used during my treatments.
Over the next two years, I researched the nuances of becoming a successful chandler, persevering until the ReCalm holistic candle range was finally complete.
