Thanks so much for your support, Kate

I made this plant pot with basil in mind for a kitchen window, but it would suit any plant or even use it for kitchen utensils.

Full description

Handmade stoneware plant pot made on my potters wheel using a white clay body. The pot and plate are thrown as one piece, a technique that involves splitting the clay ball after centring. Once leather hard a drainage hole is added.

It is bisque fired then 2 lead-free glazes are applied. White gloss and a blue-green glaze at the top. Then it was fired again to 1220 oC.

Height of about 11 cm

Diameter of base 15cm

Diameter of top of pot 11cm

This listing is for 1 plant pot it is handmade and in there will be some variation in colour and shape, making each beautifully unique. All my pieces have my makers mark on them as part of their uniqueness.

Where possible I will use recycled boxes and wrapping to reduce the carbon footprint of postage.
