I’ve had this focal bead for a while but it was only when I recently started experimenting with chenille stitch that I finally realised what I should do with it!

Full description
This bead is centred on a purple lentil bead handmade in the UK with lampwork glass. It has a gentle shine and features white flowers and raised spots, which give texture to the bead. I’ve chosen to enhance these spots by fixing the bead on a lovely fluid chenille stitch beadwoven rope, with beads fading through from purple to pink and with a spotty white pattern throughout. The rope is made using quality glass Japanese seed beads and are a mixture of matte and shiny finishes. The rope is finished with Sterling Silver findings, including a lobster clasp and extension chain.
The lampwork bead used in this necklace has been handmade with love in the UK by a talented artist and kiln annealed for strength. Each lampwork bead is truly unique and a piece of art in its own right. Wear it with pride!
Total necklace length is approximately 45.5cm (18 inches), including clasp. The extension chain can extend the necklace by up to c.5cm (2 inches). The central lampwork bead is c.43mm wide by c.43mm long (hole to hole), and c.10mm deep.
This necklace has not been hallmarked as the silver used falls under the legal exemption weight; however, the clasp carries a ‘925’ stamp.
