SALE - Previously £12.50
A spectacles or glasses case, or pouch, in shades of coffee, hand-stitched from vintage damask napkins and embellished with trimming flowers and simple hand embriodery.
A patchwork has been stitched from strips of fabric recycled from linen damask napkins in shades of coffee. The patchwork has been enhanced by strips of lace and satin ribbon in coffee and cream shades. A spray of flowers has been created from white trimming flowers completed by simple hand embroidery in white thread.
The embroidered front panel has been backed with fusible interfacing. The back of the case is a coffee and white striped cotton fabric, backed with fusible intifterfacing. The case is lined with a cream fabric, also backed with iron-on interfacing to provide some protection for your spectacles. The edge of the cover has been finished by hand-stitching in blanket stitch using white crochet cotton. The case closes with a button-hole stitch loop over a coffee coloured button.
