The inspiration for the rams head came from a visit to National Art Gallery in Washington D.C. USA and being blown away by a huge roman bowl with three full sized goat heads. Soon after I was walking on Dartmoor and came face to face with a fabulous Dartmoor ram and knew I had to incorporate it into my ceramics.
