Hello and welcome. I make jewellery out of hand rolled paper beads which I sell in aid of the St Wilfrid's centre for vulnerable and homeless adults. Check out their website https://www.stwilfridscentre.org/

I use recycled paper and I get inspiration from the colour of the paper and whichever pre-loved beads I could find to complement my design - This means that no two pieces are alike.

I add new creations every few weeks, so please feel free to come and browse again and again for that one-of-a-kind piece. If you like what you see and want to buy more than one piece, then please let me know as I am very happy to combine postage for you.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Full description

A Tapered barrel shapped, chunky but very light, pair of earrings made with an old OS map of Chester and neighbouring Liverpool. The map was cut manually into strips which were then hand rolled into beads and varnished. The earrings are mounted onto a silver plated finding, topped with a flat disc irridescent fawn coloured plastic bead, and bottomed with a small round glass bead.

The earrings are about 6 cm in drop from tip of the findings to end of the bottom bead

I love working with old maps and try to retain place names when I can in case people recognise some of the features on the maps. One of the beads shows 'Speke' and the other 'Hale'.

These earrings would be a lovely birthday gift, first anniversary gift, a special different and quirky little something for someone who likes 'one of a kind' jewellery or just a little souvenir of Chester &/or Liverpool area.

Please note that, as I work with recycled paper, and with whatever design is on a page, the beads are not identical.

My jewellery is sold in aid of the St Wilfrid's centre for vulnerable, socially excluded and homeless adults.
