In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation if a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking. If you'd like your package sent with tracking, please message me for a quotation.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'Tracked 24' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

Although I make lots of purses, clutches and wristlets, I don't often make larger handbags and when I do, they tend to be as a result of a special commission. Occassionally though, I find just the right fabrics to tempt me to make one and this lovely richly coloured, check Herringbone Harris Tweed was one of those fabrics!

Full description
The outer of this bag is made with a Harris Tweed, woven by an artisan on the Isle of Harris in rich earthy tones, in a check pattern. I've stabilised the 100% wool tweed with a woven cotton interfacing and then added a layer of soft and lofty fleece for body and to protect the contents of the bag.
The lining is made with Liberty Tana Lawn in a beautifully colourful Art Noveau style print, which I've also interfaced for longevity. I've added a zip pocket to one side of the lining in a golden shot silk and stitched the bag to the kiss frame with perle cotton. The finishing touch is a slim deep red leather shoulder strap, long enough to fit comfortably on your shoulder or over your arm.
