I love wind spinners - I could watch them for hours! I've made a few for my garden, but wanted a version that I could post via a post box whilst the Covid-19 lockdown is in place. After much trial & error I have the perfect size! I'm very happy to make these in other colours, so if you want a version to match your colour scheme just drop me a message to discuss!

Full description
This pretty rainbow wind spinner is mesmerising to watch & sure to bring a smile to your face! I've formed a frame from hard copper wire. I've then woven finer wire within the frame, adding 4mm glass bicone beads in rainbow colours - the facets twinkle as the sun catches the moving spinner. The finished piece is then twisted into the double helix shape.
The spinner is hung from a length of nylon thread with a hanging loop at the top, enabling you to hang it from a hook or hanging basket bracket, or maybe loop it through itself to hang from a tree branch for example. I've found that nylon thread works two ways - from a distance the thread is invisible so the spinner appears to float; also it means that the spinner will twist back & forth in even in the slightest breeze!
Please note that over time the copper will naturally oxidise to a dark brown, this will not affect the performance - in fact it really emphasises the shiny beads!
I've designed this spinner to fit perfectly inside a Royal Mail PIP box - it measures 13cm long & 2cm wide. The nylon hanging thread is approx. 30cm. If you require a longer hanging thread please leave me a note at checkout.
I will post your order first class. Please note - any bubble wrap used to protect your order is recycled from packages I have received myself!
