I made this print in the first couple of weeks of "lock down". Using the reduction process isn't something I would usually do but I had more time to experiment with my extra time!
The inspiration came from early spring and how although we were being asked to stay indoors and it felt like the world had stopped, that nature was still growing and carrying on.
The plant is a little oak tree I had been growing in a special glass vase, it's now in it's pot outside, titled "Mighty Oaks" from the famous proverb mighty oaks little acorns grow!

Full description
This listing is for an original hand printed lino print. I have used the reduction method to create this image, carving away each layer for the different colours, meaning at the end there is a limited number and can't be re-printed. In this edition there will only be 9 available! There will be slight variations in each one due to the nature of the process.
I use UK made heavyweight, acid free A4 paper, the design is 20cm x 15cm, individually signed and numbered in pencil.
Your print will be packaged using no plastic!
