In November 2018 I visited Polly Apfelbaum's 'Waiting for the UFOs' exhibition at the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham and I was inspired by one of her pieces using lots of different colourful painted circles. I took part in the 100 Day Project the following Spring and hooked one circle each day, using as many yarn colours as I had in my stash. This blanket is the result of my 100 days of hooking - 100 colourful circles in a yarny work of art!
