We love our Bee Coasters. The Manchester Bee is a symbol close to heart. We live not far from the city of Manchester and the bee can be seen everywhere, it represents the hard working nature and resilience of it's culture, community and people.

This is our reworking of the Manchester Bee symbol and it is engraved into a 6mm poplar wood. Each set consists of 4 coasters which come in gift box. The coasters are coloured using a rich rosewood stain and finished with a Danish Oil that gives it a decent water resistant coating.

They look fantastic in any setting and are perfect for every day use. If you know a northerner, you'll know that they love a brew, and these coasters are the perfect place for it. They won't stain, and they will last.

Each coaster is 9cm in diameter.

Several years ago we kept getting asked if we had any bee designs. We didn't at the time, and we were wary of entering a design into a crowded marketplace, but one person was insistent, so we created this design.

When we create, we fall in love with our designs and this design really spoke to us, and so we started to use it on a number of pieces. The coasters are a relatively new addition to the range, but we immediately fell in love. They are great to make, lovely to hold and always put a smile on our face.
