I have made a number of these bowls throughout my career as a potter. They started as an exercise in making batches of pots which are all the same size. Now I make them because they are a handy size for all sorts of practical kitchen uses as well as decorative.

This is a handy sized cereal bowl decorated in a shiny pale blue glaze. It has many practical uses in the kitchen because of its handy size, as well as just for decoration.
It is hand made, thrown on a wheel, in stoneware clay.
It is fired to 1265oC and will hold water and is heat resistant and food safe.
It is approx 5" in diameter and 3" high.
