'The Fabric of Liberty'
A conceptual painting of the Liberty of London store.
It depicts the historical story behind the mock-Tudor building; The store was built using the wood from 2 warships - the HMS Hindostan and the HMS Impregnable. The painting shows the store being created from the ships, and sailing on a sea of that iconic William Morris design fabric.
As featured in 'The Liberty Book' spring 2020 edition. This painting was selected in a competition calling for original artwork interpretations of the building to celebrate the launch of restoration works, and be featured in The Liberty Book.
Available as a Giclee print, each print is individually titled and signed by myself, the artist. The original painting is created with pen and ink with watercolour.
All my art prints are printed by a 'Fine Arts Guild' Printer on museum grade, acid free paper to ensure the highest quality, with colours true to the original painting and colourfastness to ensure your print will last a lifetime.
