Hello! I am an artist who loves to paint scenes with a sense of nostalgia about them - with pictures that tell a story, encapsulate happy times and memories.

​My style is mainly pen and ink with watercolour. Prints of my work and personal commissions are available.

My interest in art and painting began at an early age after watching my Dad draw and paint - I was particularly fascinated by his watercolour pan set! Later, while studying Engineering at University of Kent, I discovered the amazing etchings of local artist Graham Clarke, who continues to be an inspiration. I painted my favourite pubs and scenes around Canterbury and gave to friends that featured in them.

​It was while I was working in Medical Physics for the NHS in London that I attended my first watercolour evening class. A couple of years later, I was lucky enough to be awarded a Highly Commended by renowned watercolour artist Alwyn Crawshaw for my ink and watercolour painting of 'Mersea Boats'. A proud and encouraging moment.

I continued to paint as a hobby, but it was later when we spent a few years in Dusseldorf, Germany, and after encouragement from a friend there, that I took the leap and began to sell prints of the wonderful beer gardens, café’s and historical buildings, and become a 'professional Artist'.

I now live with my Husband and 2 sons in the small but vibrant and beautiful village of Overton, Hampshire, UK. My prints are stocked in Germany and the UK, and are bought internationally. I am thrilled that my commissioned paintings and prints are hanging on walls across the world.

My paintings have been selected for the National Trust's 'Mottisfont' Open Art Exhibition twice, and featured in Liberty of London's The Liberty Book.

I used to include our friend's miniature schnauzer in my Germany pictures but now we have our own, and he can often be spotted in my new paintings.
