Full description
This completely unique pendant features a copper wire tree of life design on an irregular shaped smokey obsidian tumbled stone. I've wrapped fine copper wire onto a frame, twisting the lengths to form the tree of life, or world tree. Roots fan out across the bottom of the stone up to a twisted trunk, which then splits out into branches - the shape said to symbolise the connection between all life. I've finished it off with a flared woven bail.
The smokey obsidian stone is tumble polished & an unusual shape - it's thicker on one side, so I have formed the trunk of the tree slightly off centre to balance the design. The oxidised copper looks gorgeous against the smooth black stone.
The pendant comes with a 2mm thick waxed black cotton cord, complete with handmade fastenings. The cord length is approx. 40cm but I can supply a different length if required - please let me know your preferred length via the 'choose options' button.
Pendant including bail measures 5cm long, 2.5cm across at widest point & 1cm at thickest point.
I will post it out first class, in a 100% recycled (& recyclable!) gift box, within a recycled polythene bag.
