Full description
A small linocut print of a hand in black ink on handmade paper.
This print is completely original and handmade using traditional linocut techniques. The design is hand drawn onto lino before being carved to create a unique linocut block. Each block is then printed by hand burnishing with archival inks onto fine paper.
The nature of lino as a medium means that the final results are unique to each finished print. Differences in the amount of ink, the pressure of the hand-burnishing technique I use and even the grain of the paper can change each work subtly. This leaves a unique connection between the final work and the artist.
It is printed on handmade khadi paper 14cm x 22.5cm, but as the paper is handmade with a deckle edge the size may vary slightly
They are delivered unframed but covered in protective packaging and backed by strong card.
