Full description
Original pyrography art of Levisham Railway Station, NYMR. The North York Moors Railway is a great source of material for my artwork. Levisham Station, set in the deep Newton Dale, is a couple of miles away from the village for which it is named, and can be very busy during the summer. Drawn on plywood with a dark wood frame, this work contains a lot of detail - the brickwork took a long time to get right, and I am particularly pleased with the over-hang of the platform edge. This artwork took me about 14 hours to complete, and measures aprox 410mm x 290mm framed.
