Ledston Estate Yorkshire in Yorkshire gave us some cherry to use whilst working at their Countryside Live event for inner city school children to learn about opportunities in the countryside. We brought the log back home and I roughed out this bowl a while ago. When I put it on the lathe to finish the design I worked the chisels to ensure that the grain circles would appear as you supped your soup!

Full description
Deep soup bowl, pasta bowl, cereals, crisps, cherries & sweets whatever you feel like using it for. Easy to wash, durable and lightweight in a rich chestnut colour. The wood I've used here is from the Ledston Estate in Yorkshire and is some of the best I've ever had. This little beauty measures 15.5cm diameter and it's height is 7cm. It has a curvaceous profile with a gently chamfered edge sloping outwards.
